TÜV SÜD South Asia conducts facilities inspection for clients as per their requirements. Some projects we have undertaken are:

• 4000 retail outlets of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL). For a case study on this, please refer below.

BPCL's Pure for Sure campaign

TÜV SÜD South Asia was appointed by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) to audit and certify their retail outlets (petrol pumps), based on a standard exclusively developed for their ongoing “Pure for Sure” campaign. TÜV SÜD South Asia jointly developed this standard with BPCL, by customising generic quality system requirements to meet specific needs of their retail strategy and quality requirements.

The Pure For Sure customer care initiative of BPCL is associated with stringent certification for quality & quantity, courteous and personalised services, as well as efficient fuelling offered at retail outlets. Periodic auditing and certification of retail outlets by our experts is one of the steps in achieving this goal. A customised  standard has also been developed to audit supply point locations of BPCL.

On completion of audits we suggest areas of improvement to BPCL. Re-audits are carried out wherever necessary to ensure strict adherence to the auditing standard by every retail outlet. TÜV SÜD South Asia has designed special certificates specifically for this project, which are awarded to outlets that have successfully fulfilled the auditing criteria.

This initiative has helped BPCL gain a preeminent position in customer's mind share and will hold it in good stead in the deregulated scenario.
